Yes — collection from your Bristol office is completely free, with no minimum quantity and no hidden charges. You only pay if you need data destruction certificates.

Do I get a GDPR certificate for every device?

Yes. Every data-bearing device that undergoes destruction gets its own individual certificate showing the serial number, destruction method, date, and operator. This is what the ICO expects to see.

What happens to the equipment?

Accepted Answer

Viable equipment is refurbished and given a second life. Everything else is processed at a licensed WEEE facility with full digital waste tracking. We operate a zero-landfill policy.

Are you a licensed waste carrier?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Basecamp Tech is registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier, meaning it is legal for us to transport your WEEE. We provide waste transfer documentation with every collection.
